Grants

ITF Therapeutics is committed to bringing personalized care and advanced treatments to families with rare diseases through strong partnership and insight-driven action. We are dedicated to supporting independent initiatives that help the rare disease community achieve this collective goal. To that end, we offer Grants and Giving programs, as well as Medical Research Grants.

Grants and Giving

Central to our mission of collaborating with the rare disease community, ITF Therapeutics will consider grant applications to help fund programs that raise awareness of Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD), enable education (including medical education), and otherwise address unmet needs of families living with DMD.

If you are interested in applying for a grant or would like additional information, please contact us.grantsandgiving@itftherapeutics.com.

Medical Research Grants

We understand the importance of improving the quality of care for people living with DMD. To that end, ITF Therapeutics will consider applications for independent medical research grants (i.e., investigator-initiated research and collaborative research studies) to individual researchers, institutions, or groups seeking funding or material for a study in rare diseases within particular areas of our interest, including the following:

  • Safety and efficacy in specific subpopulations
  • Treatment transition strategies and dosing strategies
  • Effect of givinostat on activities of daily living
  • Effect of givinostat on quality of life
  • Further characterization and measurement of disease progression following givinostat (e.g., respiratory, cardiac function, ambulation)
