As a core member of the ITF Leadership Team, the Vice President, Sales & Marketing will drive the commercial strategy and execution for the company’s first product in Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. This leader will lead a team of passionate professionals and advance the sales and marketing framework to optimize performance and deliver exceptional value to the rare disease community we serve. Anchored in accountability and a relentless commitment to patient impact, this individual will shape brand positioning, elevate customer engagement, and build an enduring commercial foundation.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead development and execution of integrated sales and marketing strategies to deliver on revenue, market share, and patient impact objectives.
  • Ensure the organization is aligned to and rallies behind the brand vision and strategy.
  • Inspire and develop a high-performing sales and marketing team focused on ownership, excellence, and inclusion.
  • Advance an insight-focused and metrics-driven commercial culture grounded in performance, learning, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure cohesive go-to-market strategies informed by a deep understanding of patients and customers we serve.
  • Champion omnichannel engagement that drives awareness and enables demand.
  • Drive KOL engagement strategy in partnership with Medical Affairs to shape external perception and thought leadership around the brand and disease state.
  • Be a steward of ITF values and represent the organization externally, fostering thought leadership and brand visibility in rare disease.
  • Promote ethical standards, regulatory compliance, and accountability across all sales and marketing operations.

Required Skills:

  • 15+ years of biotech/pharma experience with a track record of successful commercial leadership; rare disease experience required.
  • Proven success in launching specialty products, shaping market strategy, and driving organizational growth.
  • Deep leadership expertise in sales, sales management, sales training, brand leadership, and marketing disciplines.
  • Expertise in strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication capabilities; committed to fostering talent and team resilience.
  • Proven ability to mentor and develop first-line and second-line leaders and build high performing and resilient teams.
  • High ethical standards and deep commitment to patient-centricity.
  • Ability to travel and represent the company with credibility and purpose.
