Reports to: Head of Finance, ITF Therapeutics

The accounting manager will serve as the key point of contact for all accounting, AP, and AR responsibilities at ITF Therapeutics. You will be responsible for financial statement preparation, journal entries, account reconciliation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. You will partner closely with the Head of Finance and other department heads at ITF Therapeutics.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, expense reports, and general ledger.
  • Lead Month End Close Process, ensuring all costs and revenues are properly recorded, journal entries are properly documented, accounts are balanced and reconciled, and reports are generated and circulated to management and the parent company.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and reporting packages.
  • Manage and execute full order to cash process.
  • Ensure compliance with internal control policies and monitor for deviations from controls or gaps in control processes.
  • Partner with external tax and audit firms to ensure timely and accurate fillings, reviews and audits.
  • Reconcile AR with third-party logistics provider (3PL).
  • Record gross-to-net revenue accounting entries.
  • Reconcile Payroll with third-party professional employer organization (PEO).
  • Support the implementation of new enterprise resource planning software (ERP).
  • Work closely with international parent company and affiliates to support global, consolidated financial statements in accordance with Italian GAAP.

 Required Skills:

  • Financial Accounting skills.
  • Financial Statement Preparation.
  • Strong background in Financial Controls.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of progressive accounting operational roles, preferably with a commercial-stage biotech or pharma company.
  • Public accounting experience, CPA certification or master's degree in accounting is a plus.
  • Familiarity with SAP Hana and Coupa are a plus.
  • This will be a minimum of 3 days/week on-site role in Concord, MA.
