This role will be pivotal in driving commercial excellence, data-driven decision making, and world-class customer experience. The VP will sit on the commercial leadership team and work cross-functionally to shape business direction, optimize customer engagement, ensure efficient commercial operations and maximize patient access and outcomes for rare disease patient communities.

About This Role:

This executive role is central to shaping our commercial strategy, enhancing customer engagement, and ensuring operational excellence across the organization. As a member of the commercial leadership team, you will collaborate cross-functionally to drive data-informed decisions, elevate the customer experience, and improve patient access and outcomes for the rare disease communities we serve.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the development and execution of commercial analytics, insights, and operations strategies to support business growth and patient impact
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to inform strategic planning, forecasting, and performance measurement
  • Build and oversee a high-performing team across analytics, customer operations, and field force effectiveness
  • Design and implement scalable systems and processes that optimize customer engagement and commercial efficiency
  • Translate complex data into actionable insights that guide decision-making across marketing, sales, market access, and patient services
  • Champion a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability in delivering a world-class customer experience
  • Ensure alignment between commercial operations and broader organizational goals to maximize patient access and outcomes

Who You Are:

  • A strategic thinker with deep expertise in commercial analytics, operations, and customer engagement within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives and driving measurable business impact
  • Skilled in translating data into strategic insights and operational improvements

Required Skills:

  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry, with a strong focus on rare diseases.
  • Demonstrated success in leading customer data analytics and customer operations.
  • Deep knowledge of U.S. healthcare system, specialty pharmacy distribution, reimbursement, and rare disease market dynamics.
  • Proven ability to translate qualitative and quantitative data into actionable insights and measurable impact.
  • Exceptional leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, PhD, or MD) strongly preferred.

Additional Information:

The base compensation range for this role is: $300,000-$375,000.00. Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.
